The rooms, while small, are clean and provide a cozy atmosphere for a short stay. There's decent value for the price, especially if you're looking for a no-frills spot to crash without breaking the bank.
The soundproofing leaves much to be desired. Thin walls. The breakfast is quite basic, lacking local flavor, a letdown considering the rich culinary culture nearby. Some rooms, particularly the beautiful ones, offer unimpressive views, overlooking older buildings instead of vibrant cityscapes. The bed arrangements could be a bit awkward, with some guests getting two singles pushed together rather than a proper double. It was like one of those places where you get a lot of essentials but miss out on some comforts.

During our 6-night stay, we enjoyed the convenience of being just a short walk away from the tram station, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like the Basilica Cistern and Hagia Sophia Museum. The rooftop terrace provided stunning views while we enjoyed breakfast, which was good value and offered enough variety to start our day. The room was clean and comfortable, although some towels could use replacing. it was a pleasant stay for a family who wanted to soak in the local sights.

clean hotel, excellent staff, big room. exceptionally comfortable beds and tv with satellite channels, central heating and an individual safe. a wide array of options, perfect food. magnificent location, around 4-6 minutes walk from an indoor mall. fairly nice stay, and 10 minutes' stroll from the subway. a rare property, my first choice in istanbul.

I didn't want to leave and would definitely stop here again. Everything was very good, met the demands, and the staff were very very helpful and excellent people on night shift. I have just spent 3 days in standard double room and appreciated it. The location of the property was amazing, near to public transport. Went to Lotiz Lounge & Hookah for drink or two, set around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Location right by metro station and bus station, top tourist destinations and the historical places. Perfectly clean and fairly quiet unit with an electric kettle and a fridge.

Just cheap
Hot water was very very poor. We couldn't use hot water in the morning and the night. We need to wait for hot water to make hot. Wi Fi was very very slowly. We couldn't use the internet very well. Also breakfast was poor.

Unexpected rooftop views delight
The location was superb, close to tram and metro stations. The rooftop offered fine views and the staff, especially Kamel and Murat, were friendly and helpful.
Some amenities in the room were worn out, and the breakfast could use more local flavors to enhance the experience. Rooms felt slightly cramped at times.

Hotell staff should best speak and understand (!) English. Still in the future, the customer can pay in dollars or euros, depending on which currency he will be with you.
We had to pay on demand personnel hotel on €10 more than indicated on the invoice, approving on Internet. The day before at the Hotel Manager, who is fluent in English twice asked – we must correctly for a stay from 28-Dec – 4-Jan pay €375, he said yes. The question, can I pay in dollars, said – preferably in euros. As a result had to change in the Bank $to€. And in the morning before leaving another Manager said that another 10 euro (euro exchanged and left as many as you need it), but since we already had, the euro has said that you can pay in Turkish lira.

The owner Erin is a very helpful guy, speaks good English and fluent German. The location is good, very close to Aksaray tram station, 10 minute walk to Grand Bazaar. As a solo woman traveller I felt safe in the hotel and also the area is safe to walk around, also at night. The rooms are clean, breakfast is fine. It is an excellent budget hotel!

The hotel davos istanbul is a great hotel for travelers , it combines price- location. the hotel is very close to the tram station about 2 minutes and near the metro. Although it is in a central point ( this means great safety in the night) it is not noisy at all. the rooms are nice with all the needs and comforts. The most important is that the staff was very friendly and willingless to help you at any time.

Great for budget-conscious travelers
The location is excellent, just a short walk from a tram station and metro, makes exploring so easy. The rooftop terrace was very nice, a perfect spot to enjoy coffee with a view!
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable for what I got.

The position was good, the clerk knew english and it was very helpfull.
The cleaning was very bad, the breakfast was poor in products, no acces on the street hotel between 10.00 - 18.00. One parking was available but it has the acces from the closed street. The bathroom has problems with the hair dryer, the water was running low, the shower was improper. After the 7.00 the cleaning ladies made a lot of noise.
